About the Owner

Danielle Clayton:

Growing up in the small city of Camden, New Jersey I didn't see many opportunities for growth. Being able to recognize that change needed to be taken is one reason I decided to start this business. For as long as I can remember I have had this dream and wanted to explore the possibilities my creativity can take. When I first decided to start my business, I had no idea how much I had to learn about. The beginning of this learning curve was harder than ever while still having to face the challenges of everyday life.

Being diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and PTSD at a young age kept me in a limited mindset of my capabilities. For a long time, I believed my mental diagnosis defined me. I believed that my future was gone, and some incidences almost made it certain. I have engaged in self injurious behaviors and tried committing suicide on several occasions and each time, thankfully I survived. I then chose to take the first step into my healing journey, one step being donating to organizations built on providing assistance to those in need.  Many years, repeated patterns and continued healing later I made it here. My journey is messy, and I never imagined I would make it this far in my life and though I have so much more to learn I won't give up. I will share by journey with the world, starting with this business. Thank you for supporting my dream, survival and the many people looking for the same thing, it means more to us than anything.
